Kelmore Shortlisted for Manufacturing Start-Up of the Year at Insider Made in the North West Awards 2025
We are thrilled to announce that Kelmore has been shortlisted for the Manufacturing Start-Up of the Year Award at the prestigious Insider Made in the North West Awards 2025.
This recognition highlights our remarkable start-up journey of rapid growth with production output growing by 420% since our first month and over 1,450,000 units sold in the first 12 months of trading.
Since launching in February 2024, Kelmore has rapidly gained momentum, establishing itself as a market leader in the tiling and flooring industries alongside long-standing manufacturers.
Operating from our state-of-the-art 50,000 ft2 facility in Chorley, Lancashire, our team has quickly grown to 47 members, with plans to make further appointments in 2025 ready for further expansion.
In addition to the business being named a finalist, we’re delighted to also share that our Production Apprentice, Luke Walsh, has been named in the shortlist for the Apprentice of the Year category.
Kelmore’s Founder and Managing Director, Mark Kelly, commented:
“We are honoured to be shortlisted for the Manufacturing Start-Up of the Year Award!
“This recognition reflects the incredible hard work and expertise of our team, who bring over 500 years of combined manufacturing experience to Kelmore.
“From day one, our mission has been to provide the best products and service on the market, and we are proud of the progress we’ve made in such a short time.
“We are also delighted that our apprentice, Luke, has been named in the Apprentice of the Year shortlist.
“We look forward to celebrating with the region’s top manufacturers on the big night!”
