Position Overview

This is an exciting new role based in the South East to support our existing Southern based Area Sales Manager to develop and grow our current flooring customer base. The role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can represent Kelmore in a positive and professional manner.

Working predominantly in a field-based role within a dedicated area, it is imperative that Kelmore’s existing customers and stakeholders are offered an unparalleled level of support.

Whilst working to an outlined company strategy to ensure continued company growth, the ability to grow existing accounts and acquire new customers within your area will be key. Industry experience and knowledge is essential for the role.

This role will be covering areas including Essex, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, North London and surrounding areas including AL, SG, LU and WD postcodes.

Main Duties

  • Build strong relationships and trust with customers and end-users.
  • Promote the Kelmore brand and generate sales growth with existing and new customers.
  • Work closely with flooring contractors and distributors and create joint strategies to grow and strengthen the business and relationship with them.
  • Handle customer enquiries and issues in a professional, compassionate manner and work with customers to resolve challenges and problems in a positive way to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with customers, end-users and colleagues via email, phone or face to face.
  • To create and implement a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly schedule that facilitates the delivery of exceptional levels of customer support.
  • Whilst adhering to the company strategy, look to grow the business within your dedicated area with new and existing accounts.
  • Closely monitor the industry and identify opportunities for our business to strengthen its position.
  • Utilise your technical knowledge and skill set by organising and delivering trade events, attending site and answering technical enquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Technical, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth and efficient communication of customer needs, feedback, and suggestions to continually improve our service to customers.
  • Identify opportunities for adding new products to the Kelmore range.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Technical Managers ensuring information is communicated effectively.
  • Carry out various administrative duties such as filing, data entry and document management ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions and development activities to maintain and improve product knowledge, company policies, industry trends and service to Kelmore customers.
  • Flexibility to work cross functionally in accordance with business needs.
